Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team, providing specialized therapy services to children across various settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pediatrics. If you enjoy baby snuggles, obstacle courses, silly songs, and the magic of imaginative play—we just might be the perfect fit. Our office offers traditional outpatient pediatric PT, DMI and intensive programs, and specialty programs such as pelvic health and aquatic physical therapy. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young patients' lives by developing and implementing individualized care plans that promote mobility, function, and overall well-being.

Duties:

  • Assess pediatric patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including gait analysis and functional assessments.

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs.

  • Provide therapy focusing on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and motor skills in children with diverse conditions.

  • Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and community resources to support ongoing patient progress.

  • Document patient progress accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric therapy techniques.

  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist with specialization or experience in pediatrics.

  • Demonstrated expertise in care planning for pediatric patients with diverse conditions including orthopedic issues, neurological disorders, and developmental delays.

  • Experience working across various healthcare settings including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community programs.

  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical teams and family education.

  • Ability to manage cases efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care.
